As you might have noticed, the website has gotten a new look! It has been a long time coming, and it's finally up.
I have been busy lately working in the studio, producing a ton of art. There is now a section at the Arts & Crafts Emporium on River Street in Savannah that carries some of my work. Go down and check it out if you're in the area, it features many local artists.

Changes coming!
So sorry for the lack of updates, but I have been quite busy! I'm working on a new look for the webpage, along with several different projects.
The most recent project has been painting on a baseball helmet. I had a request for a running horse, and some swirly lines along the side. I am about halfway through, and will put up photos tomorrow hopefully, both of in-progress as well as the finished product. I like the way it's coming out so far.
I hope to be able to do a bit more blogging in the near future, but for now, it's time to go home and nap!

Gallery Show
So, the gallery show came and went. I had ten pieces up in the Jewelry Consignment Network, along with two other artists (both photographers). We had a lot of people come to the show, both locals and tourists. The show itself was up for just over two weeks, but some of our pieces are going to stay at the shop...so if you happen to be downtown in Savannah, swing on by and check them out!
Here are a few pictures from the opening:

This is a series of three that I painted...different night scenes from Paris. The Arc de Triomphe, Moulin Rouge, and Eiffel Tower.

Gallery Show
On February 11, 2011 I will be having a gallery show with two other artists. It is going to be at the Jewelry Consignment Network at 139 Bull St between 5 and 9pm. I hope to see everyone there! I will be hanging some of my oil paintings as well as some pastel work.
I will share with you a piece I have been working on today...the photo is a little blurry, as it is from the phone. I promise, once it's finished I will post a better photo of it.

Happy Christmas everyone!
Hope everyone who celebrates is having a good holiday!
I am visiting with family for the weekend, and it's COLD up here!! It even snowed a little this morning...fortunately it didn't stick. I like it when it's falling, but I don't want to be out in it!
I have been working on some crafty things for Christmas gifts, wine and margarita glasses, horse brushes, and holiday ornaments.

This is a dandy brush I painted on for a secret santa gift...unfortunately my car died, so I never got to the party and still have the brush in question.
So hopefully everyone is eating way too much food and drinking just a little too much eggnog!
I will post again soon, I promise :)

slight change of direction
I mentioned in my last post that I'd been feeling very French. This is still true, but as my printer has been broken, I have been unable to get any reference photos for what I'd like to paint. I really would like to do a piece or two on the Moulin Rouge, but that is going to have to wait.
In the mean time, I've been painting on recycled wood to sell on Etsy, and I finished a crab that I had been working on.
The crab is oils on canvas. I think I love him.
